Vikas Bank brings you Mobile Banking through the Immediate Payment Services, a service that enables you to transfer money from one bank to another bank instantly. What's more, this service is available 24 X 7 and 365 days a year with no holidays.

Pre-Requisites for Mobile Banking through IMPS

Registration for Remitter:

  1. Register yourself with the mobile banking service of the bank.
  2. Get Mobile Money Identifier (MMID) and MPIN from the bank
  3. Download Software (Application) for mobile banking (ensure the compatibility of mobile with the application) or use the SMS facility in your mobile.

Registration for Beneficiary (To Recieve Money):

  1. Link your mobile number to the account in the respective bank.
  2. Get 7 digits Mobile Money Identifier (MMID) from the bank
  3. Share your mobile number and MMID with the remitter
  4. Ask the remitter to send money using your mobile number and MMID
  5. Check the confirmation SMS for credit to your account of the remitter

For Remitter (To send money):

  1. Login to the application and select the IMPS menu from the IMPS or use the SMS facility in your mobile if your bank provides IMPS on SMS
  2. Get Beneficiary Mobile number and MMID
  3. Enter Beneficiary Mobile number, beneficiary MMID, Amount and your MPIN to send
  4. Await confirmation SMS for the debit in your account and credit in beneficiary account
  5. Note the transaction reference number for any future query
  6. Share your Mobile number and MMID with the remitter
  7. Ask the remitter to send money using your Mobile number and MMID
  8. Check the confirmation SMS for credit to your account from the remitter
  9. Note the transaction reference number for any future query

E-Mails requesting sensitive account information

Dear Customer,

We understand that there are fraudulent e-mails going out to customers of various banks asking them to update sensitive account information like their Debit or Credit Card numbers, ATM card numbers, MPIN,ATM PINs, user IDs, passwords etc., by clicking on an e-mail link or by visiting a website.

Please note: Vikas Bank Ltd. doesn’t seek such information in any form from its customers. Hence please do not part with this information even if you are asked. Vikas Bank . shall NOT be liable for any loss arising from your sharing of your User Ids, passwords, cards, card numbers or PINs with anyone, NOR from their consequent unauthorized use.
