Green PIN Solution

Our Bank is exploring all the possibilities of digitalization in day to day banking. Recently the Bank has implemented new service Green PIN for our customers.

‘Green PIN’ is now available live for immediate use of our customers in two channels ie., One on Sarvatra Card Safe app and the other on the ATMs of our Bank.The official app of the bank available on Google Play Store,Apple App Store,Microsoft Store.

Green PIN।Process Flow

Introduction

Green PIN initiative offers a hassle-free paper less ATM PIN generation for existing as well as for new Debit Card Holders.

The Account Holders can set their required ATM PIN by visiting any ATM connected to the ourBank’s network. Using this facility, the Debit Card Holders can use the same functionality in case they forget their existing ATM PIN. Debit Card Holders can easily use this service without visiting the branch or having to wait for the PIN mailer.

Features

  1. Green PIN generation is available on ATMs and Sarvatra Card Safe App for existing and new Customers.
  2. The Customer can reset their ATM PIN instantly by using Green PIN option provided on the ATM and Sarvatra Card Safe App.
  3. A 4-digit OTP (One-Time Password) gets generated by the system and is delivered to Customer’s Register Mobile Number (RMN).
  4. The Green PIN OTP gets validated when entered by the Customer on the ATM or Sarvatra Card Safe App.
  5. More secured, as OTP is sent to the Customer’s Register Mobile Number only.
  6. In case the PIN is forgotten, the Customer can generate/set new PIN immediately by visiting any of the Bank’s ATMs or by Logging into Sarvatra Card Safe App
  7. Green PIN saves the for the Bank the time and cost involved in PIN Mailer printing and dispatching. It also saves the Customer’s valuable time.
  8. The OTP expires after a set time (after 3 hours).
  9. Supports both Personalized and Insta Cards.

Green PIN Operation

ATM Channel

  1. Account Holder needs to select the ‘Green PIN’ option available on the ‘Select Language’ screen of ATMs.
  2. On selecting of option, a new screen will be displayed on which the Customer will have two options:
    • Step-1 Generate OTP
    • Step- 2 Enter OTP
  3. For first-time generation of OTP, the Customer needs to select the ‘Generate OTP’ option. Upon selecting this option, the Customer should enter the complete Account Number on the next screen.
  4. Once the Account Number is entered correctly, the system will check whether the Customer’s Registered Mobile Number is linked to that Account Number or not.
  5. If the Account Number is linked with Registered Mobile Number, the system will generate an OTP and send it to the Register Mobile Number. The OTP will be in 4 digits and same will be communicated in SMS as below:
  6. Note: Dear Customer, your PIN Change OTP is XXXX. Never share OTP with anyone. Bank never calls to verify OTP.
  7. After successful of generation of OTP, success screen will be displayed on ATM.
  8. Once this activity completed, the Customer should set the necessary PIN for ATM Card as below:
    • After selecting ‘Green PIN’ option available on the ‘Select Language’ screen, the Customer should select ‘Enter OTP’ option from ATM screen.
    • A new screen will be displayed on which the Customer should enter OTP which has delivered on Register Mobile Number.
    • Once the OTP gets validated a new screen will be displayed on which customer should set required new PIN with confirmation.
    • At this stage, all the activities of Green PIN have been completed.ATM screen shows the successful completion of the process of generating new PIN. Now Customer can start using ATM card with newly generated PIN.

Green PIN Operation

Sarvatra Card Safe App Channel

  1. Account Holder needs to select the ‘Set PIN’ option available on the ‘Sarvatra Card Safe App’.
  2. On selecting of option, a new screen will be displayed on which the Customer should enter his 12 digits account number, Card expiry details, CVV number and Click on Generate OTP
  3. If the Account Number is linked with Registered Mobile Number, the system will generate an OTP and send it to the Register Mobile Number. The OTP will be in 4 digits and same will be communicated in SMS as below:
  4. Dear Customer, your PIN Change OTP is XXXX. Never share OTP with anyone. Bank never calls to verify OTP.
  5. Once receiving the ‘OTP’ the Customer should enter OTP which has delivered on Register Mobile Number and customer should set required new PIN with confirmation.
  6. 5. At this stage, all the activities of Green PIN have been completed. Screen shows the successful completion of the process of generating new PIN. Now Customer can start using ATM card with newly generated PIN.
